Fresh and gleaming, like an orange. Luminous and colorful, like orange trees warmed by the last rays of sunlight. Bursting with green leaves and white and yellow flowers, the bouquet stands out brightly against the deepening twilight in the background. The vase is as round as a fruit on the point of ripening. In front we find a sculpture depicting the three wise monkeys, alerting those who venture too close to this composition: take care, for here is a fragrance that stirs the senses and excites the skin.
Bas Meeuws
Bas Meeuws was born in Heerlen in the Netherlands. He defines himself as a digital floral artist. Styling himself after the great Flemish still life painters, he uses his camera to capture the beauty and grace of flowers, the delicacy of their lines and colors. Then he arranges them into impossible bouquets, liberated from flowering times and seasons, each creation becoming a sublimation of nature.
